Our Story

The Adanna & David family are one of the UK’s leading Family & Lifestyle Digital Content Creators.

Community and creativity is at the heart of what we do. With over 7 years experience in the industry, we have amassed a combined social media following of almost a million followers and have partnered successfully with global brands including LEGO, eBay, P&G, Warner Bros, Dubai Tourism, Dropbox, HP, Nespresso, Oral-B, to mention a few.

Adanna is a Medical Doctor and David works for one of the world’s leading tech giants. Our ‘major moment’ happened in the most unexpected way, when a 15 seconds video of us dancing to Afrobeats went viral in 2014 even before we became parents. A moment that brought us total unfiltered joy, documented in a video that we had only ever intended for family and friends, ended up catapulting us into the public sphere, shooting us from 450 to 30,000 followers on Instagram virtually overnight.

Our Mission

To empower parents to step into their power, raise purposeful children and cultivate a future where they can grow up free from racial stereotypes.

Amid the excitement and disbelief – and the overwhelming positivity and love from much of our growing community – there was also an underpinning of toxicity.

Why? Because as an interracial couple, the virality of the video also lifted the lid on racist remarks and cruel trolls. It was the first time – as a couple – that we had been exposed to such deeply rooted levels of prejudice. And it pulled everything into sharp focus. 

Since becoming parents, it has inspired our mission to educate on Early Childhood Antiracism. To be a part of a movement where racism can slowly become a thing of the past; especially for the youngest members of our society. We want to empower parents to raise purposeful children. Children who understand the core values of equality and kindness, and can grow up and grow old in a brighter, more compassionate world. But we want to do it in a fun, accessible way.

We are so much more than just another influencer. There is a purpose behind everything we share - whether that is to educate, to inspire or even the simple act of bringing a smile to people's faces. Whatever our aim, we express it in a carefully considered and relatable way.

As one of the important pillars of our relationship as a couple, our mission to promote equality is threaded through our advocacy for Early Childhood Antiracism. We make sure that equality and accessibility is captured within the content we produce.

We know our mission isn’t an easy one, but that won’t stop us. This fire - this rebellious spirit - runs through everything that we share with the world.

Our Vibe

As a family of five, we dance to the beat of our own drum. We’re honest and playful, authentic and not afraid to speak out. You’re just as likely to catch us delivering a global conference as you are recording a video of us baking in our sweatpants while fighting over whose turn it is to fold the laundry.


That’s why we like to see ourselves as digital rebels. Yes, we’re family influencers – but we’re so much more than that. We’re motivational speakers, empowerment coaches, entrepreneurs, founding members of charities, TEDx speakers, authors… And that’s just for starters.


We believe that it is our job – as parents – to build a generous, understanding and open future for our kids, and their kids, and their kid’s kids to prosper in. It’s as simple as that.
